Construction 2009-2011

The seaside residence was designed to provide a getaway for weekend relaxation and summer vacation for a single owner and his guests. The site is characterized by a significant 25% slope and a strong presence of native flora.

In response to the steep inclination, the residence was organized in three levels; the garage and entrance area (upper level), the owner's private areas (middle level), and the guest areas (lower level).

Α stretch of grey sea-beaten rocks laying between the plot and the sea has lent its grey colour to the building, aiming at ameliorating the building's visual integration to the surrounding environment.

Being mostly a summer house, one of the basic design objectives was to ensure the unimpeded movement of users between the interior and exterior spaces and the constant visual presence of the sea.
